Wedding set
Old family photographs for a wedding slideshow
You post us a box of prints — your childhood photographs, your parents, your grandparents’ wedding. We scan them, restore them and send them back: the files by email, the originals by InPost parcel locker at our cost.
- Priced individually
- Originals returned by InPost, free
- Timed to your wedding date
What it is for
The slideshow at the reception
Several dozen frames running on a screen between the first dance and the cake. Restored, they look like photographs rather than a photocopy of a photocopy — and a projector is far less forgiving than an album.
Both of you as children, side by side
Two photographs from two houses and two decades, each faded in a different direction. Brought to a common tone, they look like one set instead of a pile of random scans.
A thank-you for parents and grandparents
A restored wedding portrait of your parents, framed, does more during the speeches than anything bought in a shop. A good scan prints far larger than the original.
The album, the photo wall, the invitations
A set prepared once gets used many times over: on the photo wall, in a guest album, on invitations, or in the film somebody edits after the wedding.
How it works, step by step
Nothing is posted blind. The price and the deadline are agreed before your photographs leave the house.
- 01
Tell us how many you have
The form below: how many prints, when you need them, and how to reach you. No need to count exactly — “about forty” is enough.
- 02
You get a price and a date
We answer by email or phone, usually the same day and at the latest the next working day. The answer contains the price for the whole set, a realistic date and the address to post to.
- 03
You post the parcel
Only once the price is agreed. The quote email includes short packing instructions — how to interleave the prints so they do not slide around, and what not to do (no paperclips, no rubber bands).
- 04
We scan and restore
Every print is scanned separately, at a resolution with room to print larger than the original. Then the scratches, creases, damp stains and uneven yellowing go. Black-and-white photographs can also be colorized — we agree that when quoting.
- 05
Files out, originals back
The finished files reach you by email. The originals go home in the order they arrived, by InPost parcel locker, at our cost and with a tracking number.
What the set includes
- Each print scanned separately, with resolution to spare for printing
- Restoration: scratches, creases, stains, faded and yellowed paper
- Files ready both for a projector and for print
- Originals returned by InPost parcel locker — on us, with tracking
- A human on the other end: if a frame is ambiguous, we ask before changing anything
Colorizing black-and-white photographs is optional — say so when you ask for the quote.
Why the price is worked out individually
Twenty prints in good shape is a completely different job from a hundred creased, stuck-together, faded ones. A single per-photo rate would overcharge half of the people for easy photographs and give the other half a number with no relation to the actual work.
So the price is for your particular set. You tell us how many photographs you have and when you need them, and we give you a figure for the whole job and a date — before you post anything and before you pay a penny. Returning the originals by InPost is inside that figure, not added at the end.
Before you hand anyone your family photographs
This is the part you are actually thinking about while reading a page like this. These prints cannot be remade — if they are lost or come back damaged, there is no second copy. We take it seriously, because we have the same box at home.
The original is never worked on. All the restoration happens on the scan: nothing is trimmed, glued, flattened by force or torn out of an album. The print comes back exactly as it arrived, and in the order you packed it.
When we cannot tell what is damage and what is really in the frame — a shadow on a wall, a mark on a dress, somebody cut off at the edge — we ask instead of guessing. Losing a day to an email beats smoothing away something that was genuinely there.
What we do not promise: restoration rebuilds what can be inferred from the rest of the frame. A scratch across a cheek disappears completely. Where a face is missing altogether you will get a believable face, but not that person’s — and with photographs like that we say so before we start.

Common questions
- What does a wedding set cost?
- It is quoted individually, because it depends on how many photographs there are and what condition they are in. We give you a figure for the whole set in reply to the form — before you post anything and before you pay. Returning the originals by InPost is included.
- Will my original photographs definitely come back?
- Yes. The originals go back by InPost parcel locker at our cost, with a tracking number, in the order they arrived. We never work on paper — the restoration happens on the scan, so the print is not trimmed, glued or altered in any way.
- How long does it take?
- It depends on how many photographs there are and how busy we are. The date comes with the quote, and that is the date we commit to. If the wedding is close, say so in the form — we will tell you plainly whether we can make it rather than take the job and hope.
- What if the photographs are glued into an album or badly damaged?
- Mention it in the form. We never rip out a print that is stuck down — it can be scanned together with the album page, or left alone; that is your call. Badly damaged prints can usually be saved, and where large pieces are missing we say so before we start.
- Do I have to post the photographs?
- If you already have scans, just send those and the parcel part disappears. This set is for people who have paper prints and no scanner. How the files or the parcel reach us is agreed in the quote email.
